Issei is reincarnated as a devil, and from that day forward, he serves as an underling of Riasu, a high-level devil who is also the prettiest girl on Issei's campus. Note: This review is on both High School DxD and High School DxD New, which is the second season of the original show. There may be another season in the future, if there is, this post will likely be updated, there will be a notification if it is. Thoughts: Absolutely ridiculous, but I loved it. It has good characters, action, perverse comedy, fights, and even some plot, all stewed together to make the entire thing a fun experience to watch. The show is super cool, while also being kind of dumb, and throwing in a lot of unnecessary nudity. Worth a watch, but only if you're willing/allowed to see ecchi content, because you will. Ranking: Story: 3/5 The story can be interesting, but it isn't the best. Animation: 4/5 Everything looks pretty good, especially fight scenes. Action: 3/5 The action is spaced with other content, but its well done. Comedy: 3/5 Its a funny show, if you've got the right sense of humor. Some might see it as serious though... |
