 | RWBY (2013-Present) Genres: Drama, Action, Supernatural Episodes: 15 (Ongoing) Description: In the school BEACON, students train to become hunters and huntresses. Everyone is part of a four-man team. RWBY focuses on team RWBY and their friends, as they go through the school. Created by Rooster Teeth. Thoughts: RWBY is a very interesting show. Although technically not anime, it uses a similar style, and has the same feel to it. The characters are alright, and the animation is a little strange, but the action scenes are well done, and the weapons are pretty cool. Also, the episodes aren't usually a set length. Rank: Story: 3/5 The story is original, but spins off ideas from others, many of which I've seen before. Animation: 3/5 Apart from the fight scenes, the animation usually feels weird, and doesn't always fit the show. Action: 5/5 The action scenes always look super cool, and the fighting and weapons are really well done. Comedy: 3/5 The show can be funny at times, but usually isn't very much so. |
