After he is nurtured back to health, he is given the name Hakuoro. After saving the village from a wrathful deity, he adopts the role of the village's leader. Although wishing to live in peace, fate eventually forces him down the path of war and battle... Thoughts: The world design was great, the characters were pretty good, and the development throughout the story was well-paced and interesting. The only thing that bothered me about this series were a few designs that come up near the end, I won't say any more to avoid spoilers, but anyone who watches it will probably understand what I'm talking about. Ranking: Story: 4/5 Very well done, development was good, and the story was well setup, the ending didn't start making stuff up. Animation: 4/5 There were only a few minor issues. Action: 4/5 There's quite a bit of action, and it's well done. Comedy: 3/5 Not so much comedy, but enough to keep the story from getting too dark. |
