 | Zero no Tsukaima (2004) Genres: Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Romance Episodes: 13 Description: Louise Valliere is a 2nd year student at the esteemed Magic Academy High School, but all of her classmates call her 'Zero Louise'. While no one doubts her magic ability, it is just that all of the spells that she casts just go wrong, usually with disastrous and explosive results. Rumour has it that none of the spells that she tried to cast have ever gone as expected, which is how she picked up her nickname — Zero. Note: I watched this subbed as Zero no Tsukaima, later i found out it is on JustAnimeDubbed as The Familiar of Zero. Therefore I'll include links to both sites. Thoughts: It was decent, the story is mainly focused on Saito (Louise's familiar) and his relationships with the other people in the school. As well as the abilities that he gains. It had some alright romance, and setup for the continuation. There are three more seasons, so the story doesn't end at any rate, but it has a nice temporary ending. Ranking: Story: 4/5 It was decent, there was lots of the story line left to be continued. Animation: 4/5 It all looks good, I like how they did the magic, not too flashy or anything. Action: 3/5 A good amount of action, but probably not worth watching if that's all you want from it. Comedy: 3/5 Decent comedy, based mainly on misunderstanding/jealousy.
